Policy of Open Admissions

The first article of our Social Contract is that our university will always have an open admissions policy. Very simply, this means that all students may attend. Now, we're not referring to some more restrictive subset of open admissions, where we are willing to consider the applications for all students, without discrimination based upon the litiny of common criteria. We mean explicitly that every student who wants to be part of this university will be immediately accepted as such. Thus, the sole criteria for attending the university is simply the desire to attend. This is true freedom of opportunity.

We would strongly encourage all interested students to participate in our university, even in its current nascient project phase. Obviously, it is nowhere near ready to accept full-time students, and it's not yet prepared even for part-time degree-granting courses of study. However, just because there's not sufficient depth or breadth of courses or infrastructure to prepare it for prime-time, does not mean that you cannot sample courses at your discretion, using our offerings to maybe supplement similar more traditional course work elsewhere. Similarly, I'm sure that many might be interested in pursuing selected course work simply for the personal intellectual gratification and growth.
